cherished moments in a charming haven
beautiful flowers comfortable seating modern television complimentary water
The garden had beautiful flowers and comfortable seating. the staff provided fresh towels and toiletries daily. the room included a modern television with several channels. a complimentary bottle of water was available upon arrival. I found that a lovely touch.
The hallway carpets showed some wear and tear. I think that needs a fix.

The hotel provides complimentary wifi access throughout the building. I found this very convenient. there is also a small business center available to guests. It has two computers and a printer.

The beautiful room included a king size bed with soft linens. the bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate shower. I found this great. blackout curtains were installed. They are really effective.

The hotel is a short walk from the river. I walked there. several restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. This location is so accessible. the train station is approximately one mile away.

The hotel restaurant offers a breakfast buffet. I sampled everything. a selection of pastries, fruits, and hot dishes are available. i especially enjoyed the cooked breakfast. i also appreciated the fresh coffee and juices.

The front desk staff was very helpful with directions. they provided prompt assistance. I liked that a lot. housekeeping maintained the room perfectly. It was always super clean.

central location helpful staff broad choice
The location was CENTRAL. The staff was helpful and stored our luggage after check-out. I also had dinner and the menu had broad choices, more than standard pub food.
The extractor fan noise was noticeable. it turned off before 10 pm as promised.

An Okay Stay with Some Disappointments
limited selection cold drinks
The staff was helpful and communicative throughout my visit.
I was pretty disappointed with the breakfast. There was a limited selection, with no jam or marmalade available for the toast. The hot drinks were also cold. I also noticed that the tables were spray-cleaned while I was still eating.

small fan insufficient noise proofing
the food was acceptable.
The room was very hot, and there was just a small fan. this meant trying to cool the room was difficult. Air conditioning is needed. our room was at the very front. A beer delivery at 0630, and the insufficient noise proofing of the window in the bedroom and bathroom, ruined any chance of a peaceful morning.
